Thomas Hintz has been the backbone of German Aquapony for over two decades. As a multiple-time National Coach of the Year, he has transformed the national team from an ambitious youth group into an Olympic gold medal squad. His training philosophy combines classical equestrian methodology with innovative aquatic techniques. Under his leadership, Germany has established itself as a leading nation in Aquapony.

Sandra Hintz brings unique expertise in aquatic conditioning and sports psychology as Co-Coach. Her work on the athletes' mental strength has significantly contributed to the team's recent successes. She developed a special training program that elevates the connection between rider and pony in water to a new level. Her empathetic approach and deep understanding of Aquapony's unique demands make her an indispensable pillar of the coaching team.

Marcel Christen is the face of German Aquapony and one of the most successful athletes in the sport's history. At the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, he crowned his career with the gold medal in the individual competition – a historic moment for German sports. Three-time European champion and silver medalist at the 2023 World Championship, he is considered a pioneer of modern Aquapony.

Sarah Masurat is the future of German Aquapony. As the youngest member of the national squad, she has already made history: Her victory at the 2023 Junior World Championship made her the youngest German world champion in this discipline ever. Her natural talent with horses, combined with impressive water affinity, leads experts to predict a long and successful career. Sarah already trains with the senior team and is being developed for the 2028 Los Angeles Olympic Games.
